Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - Page number 27 - May/June 2021 (Issue 57)

My make-up artist was amazing, keeping us all calm. I loved having my mum, aunt and bridesmaids getting ready with me in the morning and Lisa felt like one of us. My bridesmaids were dressed in dusky pink princess-style dresses. I let them choose the style they were comfortable in and they both agreed on the same one. They also chose their own shoes, which my groom insisted on buying for them hoping they would wear them again and think of our special day. I had a crystal from the live-action version of Cinderella in my bouquet. It was given to me by a friend in the U.S. who was unable to travel to the wedding due to Covid Sean wore a three-piece navy suit with a pink tie. Our family fuses Liverpool and Moffat, Scotland together. So, weaving in little touches that acknowledged these ties, such as Sean’s custom-made cufflinks, was important. I fell in love with my fishtail gown from the moment I tried it on. It had plenty of lace, one layer of which had a hint of blush. I also wore a lace veil, my dream pink Jimmy Choos and my wedding-morning gift of diamond necklace and earrings from my husband-to-be. REAL WEDDING 27
