Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - March/april 2021 (Issue 56)

Reverie Acoustic Duo played during the day and everybody loved them. They’re so talented and played a selection of chilled and funky music. They also learnt our first dance song especially. The best men delivered a multi-media speec h, which went down a storm. My mum made the place names. Each comprised a card with eucalyptus sprig and name written in gold ink. We started our three-course wedding breakfast with prawns. Our main course was lamb, or vegetarian spanakopita, and we finished with a trio of desserts including cheesecake, profiteroles and crème brûlée. The cake was made by our family friend, Diane. It was adorned in white royal icing, with a painted rose gold ombre effect, and iced peonies with eucalyptus. Our centrepieces featured pink and white flowers, including peonies and roses, alongside silver eucalyptus, which matched our colour palette. Our bouquets and buttonholes contained the same blooms. 36
