Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - January/February 2021 (Issue 55)

The guests’ tables all had a blossom tree in the centre. Nunsmere Hall served a delicious three-course wedding breakfast. For the top table centrepieces large vas es containing pillar candles sat atop log slices, with jars of flowers. Ou r favours were wooden place names and chocolate. Our cake had three tiers. It was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and a glittery gold cake topper. When our registrar asked James: “Do you take S ophie as your wife?” James said, “Yes” instead of “I do!” The room eru pted with laughter. The most memorable part of the day for me was walking down the aisle and seeing James tearing up. When I took his hand it all felt real. We viewed a few venues before falling in love with Nunsmere. The gardens and lake are beautiful and the house w as perfect. Plus, the staff were so welcoming and supportive, making us feel at ease. 36
