Not only is this talented chap a whizz on the guitar, but he’s also a songwriter, music producer and videographer. Given this sad time of wedding postponements, he’s offering some new services to bring the smiles back to couples’ faces. Roger can either write your very own piece of guitar music dedicated to you, or an instrumental played on the piano, with orchestral instruments. There’s also the option to have a song written for you with lyrics based on information you sent to him, before it’s recorded and produced. You even get a say over the musical style he uses. What’s more, Roger will make an accompanying video using photographs of your life together. Recently he produced a video for a couple to accompany a song he wrote titled, We’ll Soon Meet Again , with vocals by his daughter. You can check it out on YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8r4N3L5WeA. Brides- and grooms-to-be were concerned about the prospect of rescheduling their wedding days, not least due to the organisational and financial implications of this would bring. So, we at CWM HQ wanted to do something to guide nearlyweds through this minefield. Our lovely social media coordinator, Beth Morton, explains: “Watching all of this unfold was really quite difficult to see. So, I decided that there could be no better time to engage our community of hard-working suppliers and couples, in a project that ultimately would help ease the pressure a little bit.” The videos range in style from light-hearted tips to expert wedding planning advice. Beth says, “Our best received video so far is our interview with eight real-life nearlyweds who told us about their experiences with postponing their weddings due to Coronavirus.” There are plans to work with more suppliers over the coming weeks adding even more content to this handy mini-series, so stay tuned and check out the full Keep Calm & Keep Planning with CMW playlist at www.facebook.com/ watch/CountyWeddingMagazines/507575796579869 YOUR ESSENTIALS 9
