Reader question: How far in advance should I make my purchase? Choosing your dress is a huge decision so you don’t ever want to feel rushed. As our brides buy off the peg you can leave it as late as you want, however we recommend six months to a year to leave time for alterations and to ease any potential stress. This is a question we’re often asked during consultations and we find a V-neck cut that stops just at the top of the cleavage works best. We tell our full-busted brides that they don’t need to hide themselves but find a style that shows the shape and curve of their body without concealing or compressing them.
