Your Cheshire & Merseyside Wedding - Jan/Feb 2018 (Issue 37)

We were on cloud nine to finally be husband and wife after 13 years together. The ceremony was so lovely and I’ll always remember our romantic first dance. We booked The Deltatones without ever seeing them perform based on how good their reviews were! We were so glad we did. They performed our first song The One I Lov e by David Gray and got everyone up dancing in the evening. The men looked handsome in their traditional grey tailcoats. The groomsmen wore purple accessories to tie in with the theme while Tom stood out in white. For my bridesmaids, we opted for two different shades, eggplant and taupe lavender. They all looked so beautiful. For a personal touch, we hired a wedding poetwho performed a poem about Tom and I. A memorable moment was including my new sister-in-law in the celebrations. It was her birthday so we had a cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday – she was so excited! Choosing a hair and make-up artist was daunting at first, but the girls from Olivier & Murphy were absolutely brilliant. They listened to my ideas and made suggestions and the end result was exactly what I wanted. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
