flavours we chose. Matt loves lemon cake so we chose this for one of the tiers, followed by a prosecco and raspberry layer and, of course, chocolate.” All of the catering was covered by the venue. The couple were given a full menu to review back in the January and were able to taste their favourites. “All of the food was absolutely delicious – it was difficult to choose only three options! Our guests loved our wedding breakfast and were blown away,” Chloe remembers. “The team were so accommodating with food allergies and preferences too.” The couple opted for tomato and pepper soup, beef with potatoes and vegetables, and apple pie to finish (Chloe’s grandad’s favourite). LOOKING THE PART Chloe wore an elegant, understated gown cinched at the waist with puffed sleeves and a slight split at the front. “I felt like a Disney princess in it,” she shares. She always thought she’d go for something lacey, but from the moment she tried Florence from Love and Honour on, she knew it was the one. I added a beautiful head piece and pearl veil to complete the look, started the day in white Prada heels and finished it in white Crocs. Wise lady! Matt was dressed to match the rest of his party in a grey suit with sage green tie and pocket square. “We wanted them to match, but he always stands out to me,” Chloe says. The bridesmaids were dressed in a complementary shade of sage green, in dresses with tie shoulders and a slight split at the front. CELEBRATE IN STYLE The couple decided to keep things simple and enlisted a DJ as their evening entertainment. “Darren from The Wedding Players was absolutely fantastic. The dancefloor was full all night and he kept the mood upbeat, while taking on board everything we wanted played. It was the perfect end to our special day,” Chloe remembers. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “At the beginning of the day, we were both full of nerves but I had a fantastic bridal party around me keeping me as calm as possible,” Chloe shares. “Matt too had his groomsmen around him keeping the nerves at bay. Once we saw each other at the end of the aisle though all of our nerves went away and I couldn’t believe our wedding day was finally here. After our vows and celebratory walk up the aisle, we took five minutes alone together to let the fact that we were finally husband and wife sink in. “Thanks to the beautiful weather on the day we were able to go out on the Tracy Park golf buggy, which was an amazing experience and a great way to finish up our photos. We went all over the grounds and our photographer Andy took the most breathtaking shots with Bath and Bristol behind us. He also captured some incredible creative images of our wedding party, which we’ll treasure forever as well as making us laugh. “The whole team at Tracy Park went above and beyond for us making our day extra special. The day went so smoothly and each guest had the best time. Plus, every supplier Michaela recommended was fantastic.” REAL WEDDINGS 27
