73 REGIONAL SHOOT You’ll love these styled images of a dreamy windswept elopement Images courtesy of Sophia Veres Photography I nspired by the wild beauty of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights , a talented team of local suppliers retell this atmospheric and haunting novel against a backdrop of Cheddar Gorge and Midelney Manor. Beth of Apple & Bramble Events and Caroline of Fleur Provocateur were the driving force behind the concept, influenced by a shared love of the bittersweet tale. A palette of moody greys and purple set the scene in Midelney Manor’s Potting Shed, while the tablescape reflected the rugged terrain of the moors, with moss, branches, spiny acanthus spinosus and wooden candlesticks. The florals incorporated spring blooms reminiscent of the moorland: dark hellebores, anemones, burgundy roses and broom. “The team were incredible,” says Caroline. “Everyone worked seamlessly to create and capture this wild and wonderful story. The incomparable photographer Sophia Veres created magic; her understanding of light and human emotion is second to none.” Immerse yourself in these incredible images…  HEIGHTS Wuthering
