My top planning tip would be to figure out what the most important aspects of the day are to you and get these booked first. We went for ham hock and cheddar cheese tart or roasted sweet potato and carrot soup for starter. This was followed by confit pork belly or feta, spinach and butternut squash wellington for main. And for dessert we all enjoyed apple and blackberry crumble. We went to Hawaii for 13 days and visited Oahu and Maui. We planned the trip together and it was packed full of adventure! We did everything from snorkelling to cage diving with Galapagos sharks and hiking up volcanoes. It was pure paradise. Singing duo Bella River Duo entertained our guests during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. They were amazing and we are so glad we had them. Many of our guests commented on how great they were too. Our two-tiered naked cake was made by Chris’ mum. It was carrot cake and red velvet decorated with small pumpkin doughnuts and eucalyptus. The staff at Pennard House were fantastic. I have a disabled grandmother with dementia who is wheelchair bound and they went above and beyond to ensure she could still join in all of the activities.
