There are a variety of options for hosting your big day and the beauty of the site is that it allows you to mix and match event spaces to create your perfect day as you soak up the big-sky vistas and stunning views across the Limpley Stoke Valley. The venue operates on a dry-hire basis, offering you the scope and flexibility to tailor your wedding day to match your personal taste and reflect your own love story. A curated list of recommended caterers, florists and photographers is available, all of whom understand the venue well, but you’re more than welcome to work with suppliers of your own choosing. The Stables is a Grade II listed building boasting original beams and Bath stone walls. It has been fully restored into a versatile event space with plenty of natural daylight and modern AV equipment, and can accommodate up to 120 guests. The Coach House is located opposite the Stables and is a gorgeous, listed building that can be hired as a unique stand-alone events space or as a handy breakout room alongside the Stables. It can host up to 105 guests depending on the configuration. Marquees for private events or wedding receptions can be accommodated on the South Lawn. Set against the backdrop of the Manor House, with magnificent views across the gardens and Limpley Stoke Valley. Based on the maximum size of marquee the lawn can host you could welcome 240 seated or 480 standing guests here. The gorgeous grass amphitheatre is an ideal space for private performances or dreamy open-air wedding ceremonies. Here, 250 loved ones can sit on chairs or 300 can sit on the ground on picnic rugs for example. Further spaces include the Mount Vernon Lawn, a secluded spot for drinks receptions and al-fresco ceremonies located close to the Stables and Coach house. Central Hall at the heart of the Georgian Claverton Manor, is an intimate heritage space with beautiful features, including a sweeping staircase and stunning skylight. It’s a lovely space for a small ceremony. The Airlie Boardroom is located on the top floor of the Manor with panoramic views of the landscaped gardens and can host 12 for an intimate dinner. Finally, the John Judkyn Room is a cosy lounge area perfect for intimate “I dos” witnessed by 18 nearest and nearest.
