Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - October/November 2026 (Issue 121)

Pure elegance Tamsin and Ed’s special day was hosted at Kirtlington Park, which was decorated with a simple, timeless theme Images courtesy of Emma-Jane Photography Tamsin and Ed both studied in Oxford, so this iconic city was a natural choice for their wedding day. “After viewing many stately houses, Kirtlington Park ticked all of the boxes,” they tell us. “It offered on-site accommodation and the most stunning function rooms.” The couple chose a simple and elegant wedding theme with a minimal colour palette. “We had pastel pink for the bridesmaids’ dresses and green floral varieties, making use of local suppliers,” they tell us. “We were both away for work and in different countries for most of the wedding planning, so it was great to be able to rely on our chosen suppliers to help bring our dream vision to life. The talented team at the venue and the catering firm, Greens Catering, took on a good amount of the logistics.” Tamsin and Ed chose canapés and a three-course wedding breakfast followed by a wedding cake of cheese decorated with fresh figs and strawberries. “We had welcome drinks after our ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral before departing by bus for our reception at Kirtlington Park,” Tamsin explains. “Ed’s father gave a wonderful speech before the wedding breakfast.” Tamsin wore the wedding gown called Arcada by Milla Nova, a full-length, A-line style with a straight neckline and a draped waist flowing into a full skirt with a side split and train. “I changed into a stylish short dress during the evening,” she tells us. “Ed wore his military attire, and our groomsmen wore blue suits in varying shades. Our bridesmaids looked stunning in their pastel pink dresses in different styles to suit them.” REAL WEDDINGS 19
