Your Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wedding - June/July 2025 (Issue 113)

The groomsmen wore the same tuxedos as Dannys, but with pink bow ties that matched perfectly with the bridesmaids’ dresses. This subtle difference allowed Danny to stand out. The flowers were simple yet beautiful with white and green varieties only. They looked great decorating the space, with a gorgeous floral arrangement styled up the banisters of the stairs, on the tables as centrepieces and on the windowsills. “I felt emotional walking down the aisle. I wasn’t expecting to be so emotional, but as soon as the music started playing, my eyes filled with tears. I didn’t want to ruin my mascara before any photos had been taken!” - Laura. I wore a dress by Enzoani called Narine. It was a fishtail style that was fitted at the top with a long train at the bottom. I didn’t really know what type of gown I wanted and knew that often brides end up choosing a different style from what they had imagined, so I wanted to be open-minded. I tried on different ones and they all looked wonderful, but when I put this one on, it felt different and special. Danny wore a black tuxedo paired with a white pleated dress shirt, a black bow tie, and a pair of shiny black shoes. He looked classic and handsome. The train on my dress was stunning, fanning open with a wonderful floral lace pattern inside. I accessorised it with a veil that had crystals encrusted around the edges and a small diamante necklace. The dress was so beautiful that I didn’t much else so I simply added a pair of small crystal drop earrings and a delicate silver bracelet. We wanted to ensure that we had enough pink in our décor to match the bridesmaids’ dresses and bring the colour theme together. We didn’t realise just how many shades of pink there were! We chose pink seat drapes for the ceremony room, which we tied together with a white bow. 30
