We soon found Tiago’s ring in the grass but mine was quite hidden. My mum quickly offered me her ring, before mine was soon found. The registrar said it was her first wedding with three rings! My brother, Harrison Dolphin, is an acoustic jazz guitarist, and he kindly offered to play on the day. During the ceremony he also performed an original arrangement that he had put together for the occasion. The groom wore a Ted Baker suit, which was a slightly lighter shade of blue than the groomsmen. They all wore azulejo-printed pocket squares and blue ties. My bridesmaids looked beautiful in light blue tulle dresses and rose gold floral hair accessories. I wore Jasmine by Riki Dalal, with its layered skirt and 3D flowers. I chose it because I wanted the most comfortable gown possible, without any boning or hoops. It’s a two-piece dress, so I swapped the skirt for ivory trousers while travelling. I found a rose gold headpiece that matched the detail on the dress perfectly; having my hair off my face was also really practical. After two years of planning, and a COVID-related postponement, we were both so relieved it was finally happening! 50
