This al fresco venue sits in a pretty wildflower meadow, surrounded by woodland in the heart of a working arable farm in the Essex countryside. The main site is predominantly open grass, which is surrounded by crop fields and lush woodland giving a stunning natural backdrop. The open-air, dry-hire venue boasts a large heated marquee to be used as a service tent, bar or seating area. Couples are then free to choose the tent or tipi they wish to have installed in the reception meadow and decorate as they wish. LET’S CELEBRATE! The Woodland Ceremony Area (200 guests) is set in a clearing within a mixed-species woodland. A large decking platform provides the perfect space for celebrant-led ceremonies, before the newlyweds exit through a timber archway into the open reception area. Receptions are held in a beautifully landscaped open space at the centre of the campsite, with a circle of trees providing shade overhead. Guests can enjoy the collection of hammocks, nest seats and swings suspended from the trees. In the evening, the soft festoon lighting, large campfire and fire pit areas create a relaxed, festival vibe, while the decking in the woodland becomes a dancefloor with a woodland-themed bar alongside.
