The pair were close mates for five years before becoming official. Their friendship was clearly a great basis for their relationship as it wasn’t long before Lewis was thinking about popping the question. He decided to get down on one knee in front of all their friends at a volleyball tournament. He even had it secretly filmed by drone! “It was a total surprise,” Maxine tells us. “Especially as it was in the middle of a game!” The pair got cracking with planning their dream day for 10 th May, 2019, at Hedingham Castle.
