Despite the unpredictable British weather throwing torrential rain on the morning of the shoot, an incredible team of local suppliers came together seamlessly to execute a flawless, sun-drenched aesthetic at Alresford Hall. Images courtesy of Laura Lea Photography AFFAIR Styled and coordinated by Suzannah Leung, this shoot was hosted at Essex’s stunning new country house estate, Alresford Hall. Suzanne says, “Our objective was to showcase how a historic Queen Anne property can be transformed into a living canvas for a sophisticated, modern classical wedding weekend, focusing heavily on how a celebration can transition fluidly through different spaces.” The editorial takes readers on a visual journey through three beautifully connected spaces: the lawn ceremony, an intimate, amphitheatre-style semi-circular seating layout framed by timeless Chivari chairs, classic ivory parasols, and breathtaking, ‘grownin’ floral meadows. This was followed by the transition to the patio reception. Moving seamlessly from the lawns to the secluded patio, was a sensory-led, alfresco afternoon setup. This space features a classic Champagne bar, sophisticated lounge vignettes set to the sounds of the stone fountain, and a magnificent ivory-on-ivory tiered cake displayed on an heirloom dessert cart. Finally, the morning-after poolside event. Suzannah adds, “Embracing the full weekend experience, we created a polished, relaxed poolside lounge setup designed as the ultimate inspiration for a next-day recovery brunch or a sun-drenched morningafter gathering.” A timeless LOCAL INSPIRATION 45
