I’ve always had an interest in baking cakes but I took the leap of faith when Covid hit. I used 2020 to get my skills to the right place to be able to sell my cakes and to make sure my kitchen was up to regulation. In May 2021, I was a fully registered business and only four months into it I took my first wedding cake order. I knew as soon as I completed that cake, it was the industry that I wanted to go into. What’s your favourite style to create? I have many styles that I offer such as fondant, full buttercream and semi naked but I love making sugar flowers to accompany those cakes. I can create beautiful flowers in the colours that you want to match up with your style and theme of the wedding. What’s the most popular flavour? I have many flavours to choose from, eight in fact. The most popular flavours at the moment are vanilla, lemon, carrot cake and red velvet. You can order one of my sample boxes for £20 to try my flavours, all you need to do is select your six flavours from the list and they will then get sent to your home address via 24-hour tracked postage.
