Q&A Beauty Our local experts give their advice YOU GLOW, GIRL What’s your favourite beauty look for winter weddings? My favourite bridal make-up look for winter weddings has to be flawless, radiant skin. Adding a healthy glow to your look can emphasise a radiance from within on your big day! Also adding a shimmer or pigment so your eye looks like it’s catching the light is super-popular during the near festive season, adding a touch of glitz and glam to your bridal look. I also love taking the eyeshadow slightly deeper and warmer during winter months to give depth and make your eyes pop in photos as well as in person. I take a lot of inspiration from Charlotte Tilbury and their pro MUAs. I use lots of her products as they’re so long lasting and picture perfect, making their beauty products the perfect match for your day and needs. Ché Sadler | MUA www.instagram.com/che__mua HEAVENLY HYDRATION I have very dry skin, which tends to make my foundation look like it’s been caked on rather than smoothly applied. How can I ensure my wedding look is flawless? Dry skin is often a result of multiple factors including not drinking enough water, not using the right skincare products and general lifestyle. In order to get a flawless, smooth complexion we need to first think about our skincare routine. Skin that’s dry needs moisture and hydration, so choosing products that are gentle for the skin and are suitable for your particular skin type is key. At the Bridal Experience, we always do a skin consultation during the Bridal Preview (trial) to establish the right skincare routine for you and recommend products. Introducing a new skincare routine can take around three months to see a difference so we’d always advise you to get your preview booked in as soon as you know your wedding date.
