The Ceremony Hall with its beautiful high ceiling, walled garden views and gallery area is a spectacular and impressive space to hold your nuptials, and can comfortably seat up to 150. Also located just a few miles from the grounds are two beautiful parish churches. Your reception can take place in the Orangery, situated within the Walled Garden. Visitors approach the Grade I buildings down a long entrance driveway, past grazing livestock. Time to celebrate Most wedding ceremonies take place in the Corsellis Room, which can seat up to 120 guests. With exposed brickwork and Mulberry wall hangings, the ceremony room looks beautiful without additional adornment but can be enhanced with flowers and décor if you wish. Ceremonies also take place outside in the gardens and in front of the Tower. The Long Gallery can also be used for a wedding ceremony for up to 190. The parish church of Layer Marney is within the grounds. The wedding breakfast and evening reception can either take place in the Long Gallery or the Barn. The Long Gallery benefits from lots of natural light from the stunning large windows and a notable feature is the impressive Jacobean fireplace. The underfloor heating makes it suitable for weddings throughout the year. The Barn will seat between 180-200 guests and can accommodate up to 240 for an evening reception. Layer Marney can also offer rooms for smaller ceremonies and receptions, with no lower limit on numbers attending. We love... The bride is collected from home or a local hotel and transported to Layer Marney Tower in a chauffeur driven vintage Rolls Royce.
