An Essex Wedding - March/April 2024 (Issue 115)

We met Chloe from The Copper Cacti through the venue, and we instantly knew she would be perfect. What Chloe offers is so unique and her skill at creating beauty through greenery, succulents and cacti is outstanding. We wanted each stage of the wedding to be fun and fully reflective of us, so Ollie, a carpenter, took on the job of making all our signs and seating chart whilst our creative friends helped decorate them. Instantly we felt The Canary Shed reflected our personalities; unique, a bit quirky and not traditional in the slightest. We were both very nervous for the ceremony as it was the most formal part of the day where all the attention was on us, but it became our favourite part which surprised us both. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, we fell in love instantly and booked it straight away, the weekend date being a year to the day we got engaged. 32
