Crimson and Captured at Holdworth House’s new wedding space, The Barn, this shoot gives us all the winter romance feels Images courtesy of Drawn By Light Photography GOLD DREAMS When a group of Yorkshire-based wedding afficionados got together to showcase their talents at Holdworth House the magic truly happened. The venue has recently opened The Barn, an open-sided rustic stone structure with exposed beams – a dream for weddings. So, armed with a palette of oranges and crimson, the team set to work to bring the space to life. From Above Bridal specialises in pre-loved designer gowns, putting them well within reach of any budget. As with every dress, the model bride’s ivory showstoppers went through the boutique’s pristine process to get it aisle ready. With a similar sustainable ethos, Antich Fine English Tailors make 100 per cent compostable suits, with buttons made of reconstituted nuts and cloth of natural fibres. Meanwhile, makeup artist Harriet Broughton applied her artistry to the bride and groom bringing them that wedding glow. Venue styling was in the hands of Earththings Florist and Attention to Detail. Running with the autumn/winter theme and palette the florist created a bouquet, centrepieces and pedestal arrangements to suit. Attention to Detail then stepped in to complement the beautiful blooms, while the candles and antique-look holders mirrored the historical setting. Finally, photographer Lisa from Drawn by Light was on hand to capture everything to perfection. 32
