Your Yorkshire Wedding - March/April 2023 (Issue 59)

Unsure whether autumn’s a good time to wed? These pictures prove how beautiful the late season can be For this shoot we took inspiration from the gorgeous season of autumn, when green hues lead way to so many shades of bright yellow to dark red,” says Whitby wedding photographers Aria and Rozha of Walking Wild Films. “The way leaves fall from the trees and dance their way down to the ground gave us so many ideas, inspiring us to create these images. We decided to find a location that complements that autumn feeling and after looking at so many venues, came across Sneaton Castle and immediately knew it was ‘the one’. The castle has a beautiful architecture and gorgeous gardens, giving us countless spots to shoot – in fact we could spend hours and hours taking photos here! “We put together a professional team of amazing wedding businesses, all located in Yorkshire, and created a mood board – and from then on in everything went smoothly… apart from the weather! We had plans to shoot a lot more outdoors, especially in front of a particular angle of the castle which is covered in red ivy. Sadly, with it raining pretty much all day, we had only a few minutes to spend outside, which we decided to spend shooting underneath a grape vine in the garden. The results are stunning – as you can see here!” Autumnal Affair “ 49 EXCLUSIVE LOOKS
