The Grand Lodge at Oaklands sits within 200 acres of beautiful woodland, beside a picturesque lake, in a tranquil setting, in the heart of rural east Yorkshire. Using locally sourced materials such as timber cladding, allows The Grand Lodge, together with the outdoor and indoor ceremony areas, to blend in delightfully with the natural surroundings. TIME TO CELEBRATE The Pavilion is the outdoor ceremony area which benefits from views over the lake. It’s a versatile space which couples can put their individual stamp on and seats up to 170. The Lakeside Lodge is the indoor ceremony area that boasts character and charm. It’s separate from The Grand Lodge and can seat 120 guests − a great backup if you’ve chosen the outdoor ceremony area, but the weather isn’t kind. The Grand Lodge is the reception area that can seat up to 200 for your wedding breakfast. WE LOVE… Approximately 200 trees, sourced locally from north Yorkshire, were used to build The Grand Lodge.
