Your Yorkshire Wedding - November/December 2021 (Issue 51)

We tried to vary the catering as we absolutely love food. For canapés we had mini fish and chips, pulled pork sliders and duck spring rolls, the starter was a soy and honey glazed chicken with crispy noodle salad, the main was roast beef and dessert, lemon tart. Kieg wore a tweed suit in a sage hue. He stood out from the groomsmen who wore blue checked tweed designs. We had a magician towards the end of the meal which went down a treat and the guests were amazed! Our wedding date fell on the Euro Final so in true patriotic style we had a projector to show the match, this went down better than we could have imagined – even though we lost in the end it really brought everyone together! We also had a DJ and saxophonist to dance the night away. I wore a Zavana bridal gown. I always knew I wanted a tight fitted dress that wasn’t too over the top. I wore a cathedral-length veil, pearl earrings and a Tiffany diamond necklace. The bridesmaids wore a floaty mink dress with a satin bow at the back. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
