before the pandemic.” Neil worn a tuxedo with a scoop waistcoat. Having an eye for good tailoring Neil didn’t expect to find it on the high street but Moss Bros. did not disappoint. Katie continues, “All the groomsmen wore matching tuxedos. It was important to me that they were all very uniformed and everything matched. The bridesmaids wore a Jarlo London dress in a champagne hue, full sequin with a cowl neck and mermaid-style tail.” MEMORABLE MOMENTS The day was full of fun, laughter and high emotions. Katie remembers, “Having my son, George, watch me get married was so special to me, a memory I’ll cherish forever. I remember looking out of the royal suite and seeing Neil and George opening the card I got for my husband-to-be. I could see them both looking very smart and I felt so proud. Our florist, Mae Dae, really went above and beyond. She even made me a balloon arch to go above my bed because I didn’t get a hen do and she wanted me to have a special night the evening before with my bridesmaids. My photographer, Carn Patrick also came on board with only a week to spare and he was fantastic. Due to Covid and my health I hadn’t been up the venue to have face-to-face planning and he literally was like my wedding planner in a week!” REAL WEDDINGS 31
