Alternatively, The Blackburn Wing is a multi-award-winning copper and glass structure built as a tribute to Robert Blackburn, a Yorkshireman and aviation pioneer, who introduced the first scheduled air service to Great Britain and lived at Bowcliffe Hall in the early 1900s.
