Your West Midlands Wedding - February/March (Issue 78)

The speeches were lovely. My dad and the best me n told some great stories and got the whole room laughing. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the morning of the wedding with my mum and the bridal party. It was only during the hour before the ceremony that the nerves started to kick in. I soon settled after the service and loved every minute of the day. Walking down the aisle with my dad was amazing and is something I’d dreamed of since I was little. I also felt lucky and blessed to have my grandmas there. We had seven adult bridesmaids who opted for grey dresses. They all wore styles that they felt comfortable in with matching jewellery and shoes. We also had six smaller bridesmaids who wore blush pink dresses with bits of sparkle on. For the drinks reception, we hired Chelsie Jade Singer. She sang songs of our choice, and for the evening reception, Adam Lee performed acoustic tunes for us. We also had Ben Smith join us later in the evening, who played the saxophone. Ben and Adam worked so well together, and it went down a treat with our friends and family. Andrew wore a grey checked three-piece suit with a knitted tie and matching shoes from Skopes. I chose a Pronovias gown from Silk Bridalwear. It had a very subtle hint of blush pink, and the skirt was made from a beautiful tulle material. Sew Chic by Helen made straps to match and a veil with the help of her sister, who added 100s of hand-sewn crystals. REAL WEDDINGS 41
