Your West Midlands Wedding- Page number 40 - October/November 2021 (Issue 76)

All of our suppliers were incredible! David Boynton Wedding Photography and our videographer captured every precious moment, while somehow staying out of each other’s shots! They were so professional and really got to know us and our guests. Las Tapitas were also amazing. They created delicious Spanish food delivered with such a charismatic smile! We are going to book them to cater for our first anniversary. Elmbridge Farm was everything we had imagined and more. We were careful to choose small local businesses, and it really paid off – we never felt like we were on a conveyor belt of weddings, and every su pplier got to know we were individuals and went above and beyond to deliver their services. We would recommend each of them to anyone. The place just looked like a fairytale. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves in a setting that we felt we had decorated totally from scratch felt amazing! Our dog, Henry, was our ring bearer, and because it was such a hot day, our dog sitter decided to go round the back of the church with him for some shade, but when my brother went to fetch him halfway through the service, he couldn’t find him anywhere! We had a little wait, but luckily a couple of minutes later, my brother came back in with Henry and the rings. We were very nervous on the morning of the wedd ing, especially with such a nail-biting run-up! Our nuptials were two days a fter ‘freedom day’, and we felt the pressure of isolation worries and NHS pin gs right up to the wedding morning. As soon as I saw Mark standing at the altar, my anxiety slipped away. So many parts of the day were memorable, but wh en the vicar announced we were married after such a long wait, I couldn’t ho ld back the happy tears! In the evening, my mum and dad played the piano and cello for our first dance. The live band, Tommy and The Fuse, then starte d the night with a bang before moving on to a DJ set later in the night. We also provided garden games during the day, which were a massive hit with our friends and family. 40
