Your Surrey Wedding - February/March 2023 (Issue 99)

Before making a decision, we went to view a few different venues, but The Mandolay Hotel had everything we wanted. It was modern and clean, had a lovely outdoor space and enough accommodation for our guests to stay over. Our families travelled from France, Australia, Canada and up North to be with us, so it was important we had enough room for them to stay the whole weekend if they wanted to. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were made up of gypsophila, and mine was a gorgeous mixture of blue, blush and white flowers. Sahar’s Cakery created our three-tiered blue, white and gold cake, which was made up of lemon and Biscoff. Our centrepieces were a mixture of beautiful tall and short displays. Instead of favours, we decided to have a Pick n Mix table, which went down very well with our guests. Our place names tied in with our blue and gold colour scheme and were created by Coral & Slate Designs. 36
