Your Surrey Wedding - April/May 2022 (Issue 94)

Food-wise, everyone was specifically catered for. We had a tasting session at Denbies Wine Estate, which was thoroughly enjoyable. We had a wedding plan made out of deca ls done by my friend Jacqui and the dragon and cats on our invitations were designed by our friend Mel. We also had lighting hung from the r oof of the conservatory. Our florist, Cathey’s Flowers, put all the b looms in baskets so people could take them home afterwards. The cake was made by our amazing friend Georgey from Cantelo’s Catering. We incorporated some of our fa vourite hobbies and our three cats, an owl and a dragon. As we both love books, we decided to incorporate our Lord of the Rings theme into our table plan and decorations. When we saw the vineyard and surrounding area of Denbies Wine Estate, it looked so beautiful. We could also have our ceremony outside, which was very important to us. The conservatory restaurant where we had our wedding breakfast was stunning and full of so much natural light. 40
