Consisting of two halls joined by moveable walls, the venue perfectly combines rustic and contemporary décor and boasts air conditioning and modern lighting. Outside is a newly-built raised terrace, that overlooks the garden, with furniture and sun umbrellas available for guests to use throughout the day. There’s also ample free parking for friends and family and a rustic horse trailer that’s been converted into an outside bar for serving reception drinks. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Ceremonies take place on the west side of the building, which has large windows overlooking the terrace and gardens with room for up to 100 nearest and dearest. The Reception Hall is on the east side of the property and has an adjacent, fully-equipped kitchen for the wedding breakfast and on-site bar. This area can also accommodate 100 loved ones. WE LOVE... Brides and grooms will have the opportunity to set up and decorate the venue the day before, and the private bride’s room is available for the bridal party to get ready in on the morning of the wedding. To the front of the house is a sweeping terrace lawn offering the perfect setting for summer games and drinks. Sitting just above ground level in the woods and accessed by a gently sloping wooden walkway, the Treehouse makes an intimate setting for a smaller, less traditional ceremony. Approached from the main house through an ornate gate, the stone walkway offers an excellent opportunity for the wedding party to promenade towards guests seated around the lily pond and fountain in the Walled Garden. The majestic mock Tudor main building was finished in 1902 as a family home and is a mixture of grandeur and homeliness. Both the back and front of the house have gables, towers and large mullioned windows. CELEBRATE IN STYLE At the heart of the house lies the beautiful Ballroom. Decorated in Louis XVI style with a coved ceiling, fireplaces, full-length windows, grand double doors and a Gothic-style mantelpiece, it’s capable of holding 150 guests throughout the day. The elegant wood-panelled Jacobean Long Gallery has a majestic Gothic style fireplace, exquisite stained-glass windows and space for 90 loved ones for the ceremony and reception. Alternatively, the Walled Gardens can be used to accommodate 150 friends and family, and the Treehouse can hold 40. WE LOVE...
