with a sage green bow tie. Keith had a best man and the couple’s two sons as pageboys in dark navy suits. Rose’s sister was maid-of-honour, and wore a sage-green, one-shoulder chiffon dress. “Our little girl, Nyah who is three-years-old, wore a lovely ivory dress; it had a satin bodice with a tulle skirt and a built-in sash with a bow,” adds Rose. To entertain loved ones on the day, the couple had bags of games on tables where the kids would be sitting to amuse them throughout the meal, “it was great to see the kids and adults getting involved!” shares Rose. “In the evening, we had a photo pod with attendant and props and we hired.” Rose had many memorable moments to choose from when reminiscing about their day. “I absolutely loved the morning of the wedding. My mum, sister and I spent the morning together getting ready, with our lovely hair and make-up artist, Jojo. The kids would come in and out as they pleased which was lovely. The whole morning felt so chilled, sipping prosecco, chatting and laughing. It wasn’t how I expected to feel on my wedding morning as I’m not the most relaxed person!” shares Rose. “From the ceremony onwards, it went by in a flash but having a hug with my dad when he first saw me in my dress was very special and one of those moments I’ll cherish! “Finally, during our first dance, we welcomed all our guests onto the dancefloor and I remember looking around in that moment thinking how lucky we were to be surrounded by all of our friends and family, all dancing to our first song with us.” REAL WEDDINGS 29
