Your Sussex Wedding - August/September 2022 (Issue 98)

After two difficult years of lockdown, I wanted to show how weddings have come back with a big, colourful bang,” shoot coordinator Julie Madge of Madgicks tells us. As for many of us, when Julie thinks of spring and summer, the glorious hues of flowers in bloom spring to mind and this wildflower mix is really finding a home in modern wedding colour palettes. “Such a bright and colourful theme exudes happiness and joy,” Julie says. The colourful chairs from Luna and the Lane set the scene for this exuberant shoot, and everything else was designed to complement them. The blooms, of course, were designed to suit the wildflower theme and even the super-cute furry model was sporting a floral colour. Domestic flower varieties are influencing wedding palettes more than ever and this shoot illustrates how to use these colours to great effect Images courtesy of Tom Langford WILDFLOWERS GROW Where the “The dress was loaned to me by St Barnabas inWorthing, an amazing charity with a huge wedding boutique.
