Talk of the ton Hands up who’s excited about the new series of Bridgerton? We definitely are and we’re not alone. With the success of the Netflix show’s first season came a resurgence in all things Regency style, which is now permeating the world of weddings. This glorious shoot, tells the story of the quiet moments between a bride and her suppliers as she prepares for her wedding day, bringing with it an air of the period’s elegance and romance. Meanwhile, Buxted Park and its grounds offered the team the perfect backdrop to incorporate their Bridgerton-inspired elements in a modern way. Make-up artist and shoot coordinator Lucy Meyer says, “As a make-up artist I’m often the first one in the door and the last one out. I get to witness the bride before anyone else arrives, as she gathers her thoughts and seeks to calm her nerves. Together with the amazing team we were able to showcase all of this and the intricate, tiny details of a love letter, table settting and dress change for the evening. For me the images echo the relationship I have with my reallife brides.” Discover how to inject some Regency flair into your wedding styling with this Bridgertoninspired shoot Images courtesy of Sarah Wenban Photography LOCAL SHOOT 51
