Your Sussex Wedding - December 2021/January 2022 (Issue 94)

When putting together our real weddings, selecting showstopping couple shots is always by favourite part. This issue, some of the region’s finest share their most memorable. Was there ever a more showstopping wedding venue than The Royal Pavilion? Everywhere you turn you’re walking in the footsteps of King George IV and his royal court. As a history buff, it’s one of my favourite places and I spent hours poring over April and Lee’s wedding photos for their real wedding feature – just a tad envious! I for one would love nothing more than to be presented with a grazing platter like this at a wedding. Absolutely mouthwatering its easy to see why they’re still growing in popularity, and can be tailored with local delicacies to suit the season. I’m a sucker for a stylish table setting. Dressing your tables to perfection can quickly take your venue from zero to hero. Garden games are such a fun, informal and budget-friendly way to keep guests entertained during the drinks reception. Guests aged eight to 80 will love a go at giant Jenga! Kate Lindsey, The Natural Florist says, “Foliage brings so much to any arrangement and eucalyptus is at its best in the winter months.” Check out Hot Topic for more advice on winter florals and festive nuptials. 73 https://benporterphoto.com www.monaaliphotography.com www.alanharbordweddingphotography.com www.charcookphotography.com www.johnscofieldphotography.co.uk 57 32 63 67 49 EDITOR’S LETTER 7
