Your Sussex Wedding - Page number 40 - October/November 2021 (Issue 93)

We had a flower arch for the ceremony, which included avalanche roses and gypsophila. It complemented my bouquet, as well as those of the bridesmaids. We enjoyed canapés with our guests after the ceremony, then we sat down to a three-course meal. Our guests’ place names were made from a dusky pink acrylic. In the evening we had finger buffet. Our three-tier cake was topped with a model of us wearing our RNLI kit with a life ring between us bearing our names. Our centrepieces were candles paired with pink an d white blooms, again to match our bouquets and other venue flow ers. Due to Covid restrictions we weren’t able to have a dancefloor, but we could dance at the table, which we took advantage of. The music was supplied by a DJ. We also had a photo mirror so that our guests could take lots of funny snaps with the props. 40
