But the determined mutual friend who set them up eventually managed to get them together on a double date with her and her boyfriend. Amy says, “I’d like to say it was a surprise, but I did have an inkling thanks to my father who started acting strangely one day after receiving a call from Max. So, I made sure I got my nails done before our trip away!” Pelham House in Lewes hosted the couple’s big day. Amy tells us, “It had been refurbished very recently and we were impressed with its subtle elegance and the history, as well as the convenience of the location for friends and family.” Read on as bride Amy shares her account of, 14 th December 2019, W-day... 32 32
