CRAWLEY, HORSHAM & BEYOND Spotlight on... Tie the knot in a local hotspot TILGATE PARK 01293 438 437 | https://tilgateparkweddings.co.uk Available all year round, this rural bliss boasts more than 200 acres of natural backdrop for your big day. The Peace Garden bridge, pinetum, ancient woodlands and lakes are all there to be enjoyed and utilised in those all important photographs. The Walled Garden lies at the heart of the park where generations of visitors have enjoyed the formally-planted gardens displaying an array of colour and fragrance. As you step inside, the aisle leads you into what feels like a secret garden, leaving you surrounded by shrubs and flower beds, luscious green lawns and a characterful wooden arbour adorned with fairylights. The space can host 100 loved ones for your “I dos.” What’s more, by night it’s closed to the public giving you a private space to celebrate and spend time with your guests. If weather conditions are less favourable the spacious and versatile Barn is a great alternative. It can accommodate 100 seated or 150 standing. The Arena is a large event space within the Walled Garden large enough for a marquee hosting 200 nearest and dearest along with additional entertainment. The Barn is also available for receptions for 100 seated or 150 standing complete with an enclosed garden and the possibility to extend the space with a marquee. It’s equipped with tables and chairs, a kitchenette and more. There’s also a golf course on site, while adrenaline seekers can enjoy tree-top adventures and forest segways provided by Go Ape. Animal lovers can even book an experience at the Nature Centre with meerkats, goats and tapir. When it comes to the wedding breakfast, you can book a spit roast from The Walled Garden Café or an American-themed meal from Smith and Western, and don’t forget that the new Lakeside Café specialises in an extensive vegan menu. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your owner caterer on board. www.john scofieldphotography.co.uk LOCAL VENUES 19
