Your Sussex Wedding - October/November 2020 (Issue 87)

The table plan was mounted on a mirror and decorated with white bows and bling. Shane is shorter than me, so he brought along a book to stand on when we said our “I dos!” I’ve never been so nervous in my life. I felt so emotional that I couldn’t stop shaking! Shane said it was the best day of his life. He was scared too, but also excited. In keeping with the day’s black and white theme, the flowers were white roses coupled with greenery, complemented with gypsophila for added elegance. I wore a mermaid-style dress by Ronald Joyce. I chose it because it made me feel like a princess. I have a pear-shaped figure, so it fit me like a glove. It had a back necklace attached, which was so sparkly that I decided to keep accessories to a minimum. I walked down the aisle to the Beauty and the Beast theme played on the saxophone. Guests commented that this was the most emotional part of the day, and that the live saxophonist was a romantic touch. 54
