Your Sussex Wedding - October/November 2020 (Issue 87)

Our colour palette consisted of blush pinks and dusky blues – summer sunset shades with gold accents reflecting an ethereal and romantic theme, with a hint of boho. My favourite moment of the day was seeing Harry at the end of the aisle. My heart could have burst. Flowers are important to me, so we wanted them to be the standalone decorative feature for the venue. We were aiming for an extravagant, yet relaxed, abandoned city vibe, where wild flowers were taking over. Angel House has a beautiful staircase, so I wanted flowers coming from the base, rather than around the bannister, to give the impression they were growing from the ground. Kelsey is not only my best friend, but also Harry’s sister, so it felt incredibly special asking her to do a reading for us. The words she wrote were beautiful and meant to world to us.
