We also hired a violinist to keep guests entertained with renditions of popular music. My top tip is to never settle for something that doesn’t feel right to you as a couple. We had so much lovely food to enjoy on our day, but I think the adrenaline meant we didn’t indulge as much as we could have! For the wedding breakfast, our guests could choose from chicken skewers or salmon fillet with a range of salads and pasta, followed by a brownie or cheesecake, plus of course, our wedding cake. The tables were named after our favourite places we’ve visited together as a couple. We also displayed wedding-themed Jellycats such as a lifesized wedding cake and a giant engagement ring. The Crate and Apple had a lovely, relaxed vibe and there was plenty of flexibility with how we could lay everything out and decorate. The staff were willing to do so much for us, and nothing was too much trouble, which took a great deal of pressure off and allowed us to relax in the days leading up to and after the wedding. 32
