Your South Wales Wedding - March/April 2023 (Issue 90)

Chris, our son and the best men wore different waistcoats to the ushers. We ended up changing the suits three times; we originally started with navy, but as the day was getting closer, Chris had an image in his head and with the help of Dyfed Menswear, they were able to bring his vision to life. Everyone involved made our day perfect. One person in particular was Katy, our photographer. She went above and beyond, and if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have been as calm as I was. She captured everything perfectly and made our day run so smoothly. The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses with sequin detailing from ASOS, and sparkly shoes. I was so nervous on the morning of the wedding that I couldn’t sit still. I couldn’t wait to get to the aisle and see Chris. Seeing how emotional he was on the day and his smile when I started walking down the aisle was wonderful. I also remember our son, Daiton, standing next to Chris with the biggest smile on his face. When I went into Samantha K’s Ltd, I wanted a lace and vintage-inspired dress, and I ended up going for the complete opposite. My mother picked my gown out; I wasn’t too fussed when I saw it on the hanger, but as soon as it was zipped up, I fell in love and didn’t want to take it off. Nothing else I tried on made me feel the way I did in my dress. 37 REAL WEDDINGS
