For such a classy venue, you need an equally as elegant theme to tie it all in – that’s why Ben and Daisy opted for a traditional theme, with a colour scheme of black and ivory. This theme was carried throughout their flowers, décor, stationery, and centrepieces – talk about a well-designed wedding! The couple had a faux newspaper made to greet their guests at the ceremony – an extra special touch for the traditional theme. Their welcome sign featured a watermark of their engagement photos, and the ceremony room was adorned with fairy lights to brighten Daisy’s way to newlywed bliss. Keeping on the traditional theme, they had a very classic display of wedding breakfast food. Their canapés consisted of burger sliders, fish and leek tartlets, and Glamorgan sausage bonbons. This was followed by an epic three-course meal of smoked haddock and cheddar fishcakes, Parma ham-wrapped chicken (with various yummy sides), and finished with a salted caramel cheesecake with raspberry compote – delicious! Then, of course, they had wine from the vineyard to wash all of that lovely food down. The bridal party were nothing short of fabulous in their wedding day apparel; Daisy wowed guests in her Martina Liana ivory dress, while Ben rocked a black tuxedo. The bridesmaids wore Vesper Fliss one-shoulder satin maxi dresses in black, making the perfect contrast to the bride, and the groomsmen wore matching tuxedos with the groom. Their first night as newlyweds was seen in with live music, a DJ and a saxophone player. 30
