Secluded and set in 13 acres of unspoiled countryside, with ancient woodland, streams, fields and hills, it offers glorious, far-reaching views. The gardens are arranged in three, circular tiers, and the on-site accommodation, set in a wooded paddock, comes in the shape of beautiful, handcrafted, vintage-style cabins. Each boasts a hot tub and stunning views. The venue is licensed for ceremonies in the Wedding Studio, on the Circular Lawn and Hornbean Circle. The oak-framed Wedding Studio with its Italianate ceiling features a stained-glass ocean-themed window, along with a wood burner, and opens out onto the top circular lawn. It can host 20 loved ones for the “I dos”. The Circular Lawn, with the same capacity, is one of the tiered lawns offering far-reaching, idyllic views across the valley. Meanwhile, the Hornbeam Circle, the most intimate space with room for six, is a stone circle surrounded by hornbeams in the woodland. Receptions for 20 guests take place in the Wedding Studio, and there’s also a fire pit area up in the paddock. The venue offers its couples exclusive use of the Wedding Studio and surrounding gardens for their big day. Hand-tied bouquets and buttonholes are included, as is a bottle of Champagne.
