Carrying on with the relaxed vibe, their food consisted of canapés, followed by a barbecue and finished with brownies and wedding cake made by Tom’s mother. Amie recalls, “At one point in the night, there was a queue for the brownies.” If that wasn’t enough, Amie’s bridesmaid also made a cheese board for the night! Amie wore a dress by Wilderly Bride, which happened to be the one that she had saved before her bridal consultation as inspiration. Amie explains, “It was the first dress she brought out, and I loved it straight away.” To keep up with Aime and her impressive dress, Tom wore a sage green tweed suit with a light-yellow tie, while the groomsmen opted for green versions. Two of Amie’s bridesmaids wore sage green dresses, and the third wore a blush pink to match with the pageboys. To see the celebration in with a bang, the couple entertained their guests with prosecco and a singer during the reception. One moment that stood out to them both was watching their son dance the night away surrounded by loved ones and their amazing band. REAL WEDDINGS 17
