Your North West Wedding - February/March 2024 (Issue 84)

Bashall Barn supplied the food for our day, which tasted amazing! I asked The Bloom Room to place seasonal flowers in mason jars for our centrepieces. We then placed these on wooden logs. Our cake was made up of lemon, chocolate and Victoria sponge. I’m dairy-free and Josh’s dad is gluten-free, so we had a free-from cake, which was great. The Bloom Room created my bouquet and our centrepieces, and my mother-in-law made the bridesmaids’ bouquets using flowers from Ewood Florist. Josh and I love farmhouse décor and we knew we wanted a venue that was rustic but also modern. We went for an open day at Bashall Barn and fell in love. The scenery is gorgeous, as is the décor inside, and we loved the fact that they offered everything we were looking for. To represent our faith, we placed a cross at the end of the aisle and had a bible for everyone to highlight their favourite verse, which was so special to us. 40
