I commenced piano lessons at aged four, and my life in music grew from there. I went on to gain a place at the highly acclaimed Chetham’s School of Music, where I furthered my studies under eminent harpist Elinor Bennett. At 15, I performed my first concerto and aged 16 I made my professional concert debut at the former Freetrade Hall in Manchester. From 1989, I have pursued a busy freelance career with some of the UK’s leading symphony, opera and ballet orchestras including the Halle, BBC Philharmonic, Opera North, National Symphony Orchestra, Moscow City Ballet, English National Ballet, City Ballet of London and Saint Petersburg Ballet. I also have pursued a solo career performing concertos and recitals. I have entertained royalty and worked with a range of celebrities.
