Your North East Wedding - January/February 2022 (Issue 48)

Ben’s aunt runs a company called The Northern Potter and she created our handcrafted shot glasses; we had dusty blue for the men and blush pink for the ladies. We used dried arrangements with pampas and ostrich feathers for the centrepieces to tie in with the wild theme of the venue. We discover Charlton Hall by pure chance but fell in love with the venue and the quirky spaces immediately. The old cliché is true, you know it’s right for you the moment you see it. We used dried flowers for the bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, and corsages to keep as a memory of the day. I had a combination of fresh and dried flowers in my bouquet; I will be getting it pressed and preserved in a frame. 40
