Your North East Wedding - January/February 2022 (Issue 48)

Everyone was in such a great mood; it was so infectious. We wanted everyone to have an amazing time with a chilled day and then a fantastic party in the evening. A DJ and saxophonist played together and got the party started in the evening. The sax player got right into the middle of the crowd and danced all night with us. I picked a SAVIN London gown called Zara, which was so perfect! I loved that the dress was plain but made such a statement. We had an acoustic singer for the welcome drinks, who was amazing. We opted for a three-tiered cake with white icing and pearls. We had lemon, Victoria sponge and chocolate flavours. The bridesmaids wore tulle dresses in sage green with gold shoes and gold-drop earrings – they looked so elegant! The moment that stood out the most to us both was when I walked down the aisle.
