Your Midlands Wedding - August/September 2026 (Issue 105)

Artfully balancing luxury with an organic feel, this local shoot shows us how to connect spaces seamlessly Images courtesy of Esme Fletcher ROMANCE Inspired by the romance of an English garden in spring, this local shoot was designed to feel wild and whimsical while holding a refined, fashion-led edge. The vision centres on a seamless connection between outdoor and indoor spaces, embracing the unpredictability of British weather without compromising on atmosphere or aesthetic. The ceremony styling features untamed floral pillars with natural movement, layered foliage, and delicate textures, creating the feeling that the florals have grown organically from the landscape. Soft ivory peonies paired with peach spray roses bring warmth and softness, while sculptural branches add height and an editorial edge. To continue the story indoors, the team mirrored the same textures, tones, and floral details throughout the reception space. Flowing fabric, woven charger plates, fine art stationery, and layered florals soften the interiors, creating continuity between the outdoor ceremony setting and the reception design. Elevated centrepieces bring a sense of luxury while allowing the styling to feel organic and understated. Even the cake had a moment of its own, adorned with an ivory and green hydrangea waterfall design. The overall concept inspires couples to think beyond separate spaces, instead designing a wedding day that feels cohesive, whatever the English weather may bring. The result is a balance of wild romance and modern editorial elegance – soft yet impactful, organic yet curated. Wild LOCAL SHOOT 51
